Edison township new jersey large co-op9/21/2023 The township got its original name from the Raritan indigenous people. The town of Edison Township (or Menlo Park before 1954), What is now Edison Township was originally incorporated as Raritan Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 17, 1870, from portions of both Piscataway Township and Woodbridge Township (see post), portions of the township were taken to form Metuchen on March 20, 1900, and Highland Park on March 15, 1905. The center of population of the state of New Jersey is located in Middlesex County, in East Brunswick Township, just east of the New Jersey Turnpike. Middlesex is part of the New York metropolitan area, and its county seat is New Brunswick (where i became US Citizen in 1980). Ok so we move on to the county I lived for 13 years of my early life Middlesex County. This is my humble homage to one of its towns we played and shop a lot there, Edison Township!! As you have read in previous posts on New Jersey and towns in my blog will cut it short right into the memorable town of Edison township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, Part of my early life in the USA and still very much in my mind.
